Located in the Selkirk Mountains, the Slocan Valley with a population of 5,275 (including Regional District Area H) includes the Village of Slocan, New Denver and Silverton as well as a number of unincorporated communities that run along the 100km valley. A draw for tourists and residents looking for a slower pace, The Slocan Valley is rich in history with a number of historic and heritage sites.
