This report presents the results of research efforts centered on developing a social enterprise to support the long-term viability of the Kaslo Food Hub. Drawing on results of a community survey, discussions with local store owners, a review of potential partners and applicable regulations, and a preliminary cost analysis, the report explores the feasibility of the following forms of enterprise: personal chef services, meal services, school lunch program, small-scale food production, preserving services, cooking classes and a bulk buying club.
