College of the Rockies students pursuing a BBA in Sustainable Business Practices is required to complete a capstone project that involves application of program material to the real-world business environment. Students work with businesses, organizations or communities to solve an identified problem or introduce a specific change related to sustainable business practices. Each multi-phase project requires that the student research a problem, identify potential solutions, develop a plan to implement the solution(s), implement the plan in a workplace setting, reflect on their experiences, and present the results of their project to fellow students and the sponsoring organization.
Interested business, organizations or communities are encouraged to link with College of the Rockies to indicate your interest in working with a student on their capstone project either through the RDI’s college brokering services or by connecting with the College of the Rockies directly.
