Elk Valley

The Elk Valley is located in the southeastern Kootenay region of British Columbia and runs along the Elk River 60 kilometres from the Alberta board near Kananaskis, to the Rocky Mountain Trench. The Elk Valley (population 11,534) includes the communities of Elkford, Sparwood, Hosmer, Fernie, Morrissey, and Elko.
